TRANSFER HIRE GROUP
Please welcome the transfers from the February 15th hire group with seniority dates ranging from 1972 to 2004. They are on the floor today, February 22nd. Currently 242 permanent hires have joined Local 2209 membership in 2010.

REMINDER OF VACATION SIGN-UP PERIOD
This is the last week to sign-up for your vacation; the deadline is Sunday, February 28, 2010. Please look at your calendar and plan your weeks or days off. An application received during this period is for time off from May 3, 2010 to May 1, 2011.

FOREIGN VEHICLE PARKING
There have been several instances of improperly parked foreign made vehicles. There are designated areas identified with signs, for foreign made vehicle parking in the back of each parking lot. The Local Agreement states; “When brought to management’s attention, every attempt will be made to determine the ownership of improperly parked foreign made vehicles. When ownership is determined, the driver will be instructed to move the vehicle to the proper parking area.”
